Arguably the most promising up-and-coming rock outfit, Olive Vox has released a brand new track, “We Are Not The Same” today. Olive Vox has been cementing their place in the rock scene over the last year, proving they are here to stay. Although the band is composed of fairly young guys, they have a massive, timeless sound. “We Are Not The Same” has an explosive chorus that impresses on the first listen.
Speaking on the new track, Oliva Vox says, “This track explores the emotional self-destruction and the fallout of a relationship.The internal struggle of a person who realizes they were the negative force in their partner’s life, bouncing between deep regret and a defensive need to shift blame.”

They continue, “By balancing the longing for a lost connection with the bitterness of being alone, the song captures the move from being close to someone to the harsh reality of being “not the same.” Ultimately, it is an honest portrait of the guilt and resentment that surface when you realize you were the storm in someone else’s sky.”
