Rising rock quartet Olive Vox have returned today with a brand new single, “Hear Me Out.” The group is celebrating this new offering alongside the announcement of their debut EP, Trace It Back, set for release on September 18 via Big Machine Rock. Olive Vox has been on an impressive run this year with their smashing singles “T.A.N.G.O.,” “14 Years,” “We Are Not The Same,” and viral hit, “BABYDOLL.” The latest tune, “Hear Me Out,” is setting the scene for what fans can expect from the upcoming EP.
Speaking on the new track, Olive Vox share, “Hear Me Out” is about being trapped in a loop of guilt where you just can’t seem to move past your own history. While you recognize that others can judge you based on your past actions—and you accept their right to see you that way—the real struggle is your inability to do the same for yourself. You feel stuck in a cycle of self-punishment, constantly replaying old mistakes and making healing impossible. It’s that raw, exhausting feeling of knowing you deserve to move on, but being unable to let go of the version of yourself you used to be.”
