No Love For The Middle Child is always exploring new ways to make music. The multi-instrumentalist and producer has worked with iconic artists like Machine Gun Kelly, Honestav, and more but also crafts incredible music on his own. Today, No Love For The Middle Child returns for the next chapter of his solo career with his new single, “Frostbite.” The song didn’t come together in the way one might expect, though.
“It all started from a PNG file,” No Love explains. “I found out you can sample images in Alchemy on Logic, so I threw a photo of me and my band in there. This became one of the main percussive sounds of the beat. I also sampled a cello harmonic, which became the main pad in the song. Lyrically, the song was written while on tour, in various hotel rooms and green rooms.”
