Hyber — “Waiting For Your Call”
Hyber, aka your new fave emo band from Massachusetts, just launched “Waiting For Your Call,” and you do not want to wait one more second adding this to your summer playlist. The Will Yip-mastered tune goes above and beyond traditional emo, toying with unique sonics that set them apart. The band shared, “We had so much fun throughout the entire process of making this song, from our home demos all the way to the video. We knew early on that we wanted to experiment with new sounds for this one after getting an accidental chiptune effect on a pick-slide in the demo (which you can still hear at 2:15). This inspired us to make a chiptune remix…” Listen to their 8-bit remix here, too. — Maria Serra
Fit For A King — “Lonely God”
The title track of their newly announced album, dropping August 1, is textbook Fit. No gimmick, heavy as fuck metalcore. Some of the nastiest breakdowns and vocals the band has ever written, this song is a warning; buckle up, because Fit For A King are about to drop the best record of their careers (again). —Patrick Walford
Yumi Zouma — “Blister”
Yumi Zouma is a truly international outfit featuring members from New Zealand, New York, the UK, and Australia. With their varying backgrounds, the quartet effortlessly fuses grunge-laced indie rock that will transport listeners back to simpler times in their new single “Blister” out via Nettwerk. The band shares, “We found strength in simplicity, discovering that the more stripped-down we went, the more forceful the impact became. ‘Blister’ surged ahead on the back of our most anthemic riffs, conjuring images in our minds of C4, Channel Z, prepaid flip-phone text plans, and the Big Day Out main stage under the punishing heat of the hole in the ozone layer.” — Maria Serra
The Amity Affliction — “All That I Remember”
The Amity Affliction’s first track with new bassist/vocalist Jonny Reeves kicks off a new chapter of the band in a gigantic way. Simply put: this is one of the best songs the band has ever written. From the soaring melodic choruses by JR, infectious main riffs and breakdowns, and the ability to feel vocalist Joel Birch’s pain and emotion in his delivery, “All That I Remember” will become an instant fan favorite and setlist staple for years to come. —Patrick Walford
illumanti hotties — “Skateboard Tattoo”
illuminati hotties’ “Skateboard Tattoo” is a flash of say-it-in-under-two-minutes brilliance—punk grit wrapped in the shimmering glow of indie charm. GRAMMY-winning Sarah Tudzin’s layered vocals and playful coos radiate, making every second count. Pulled from their Nickel On The Fountain Floor EP, the sharp, sweet chaos of the track sets the tone for their upcoming headline tour this June and their support run with Jack’s Mannequin this fall. —Paige Owens
FRND CRCL — “Haunted Houses”
Following up singles such as “Nice Guy” and “FRVR,” Jersey punks FRND CRCL have officially delivers their album JRSY FRESH, featuring new standout tracks such as “Haunted Houses.” Blending euphoric pop-rock choruses and punk-laced riffs, you’re sure to feel heaps of nostalgia. Of the new record, the band says, “We’re a pop punk band first, but we’ve never felt comfortable labeling ourselves as just one thing. This album is a mix of all our individual styles—what’s cool is it ends up becoming something totally its own.” Check out JRSY FRSH here. — Maria Serra
In Her Own Words — “Sugarcoat”

Whether it’s Stray From The Path vocalist Drew York spitting bars, Dragon Neck and Tom riffing, or Craig Reynolds ripping behind the kit, this is Stray going out on top in a defiant way. —Patrick Walford
The Word Alive — ”Eyes Above”
The Word Alive’s “Eyes Above” is a thunderous return that bridges past and future. With haunting melodies, introspective lyrics, and anthemic urgency, the track pays tribute to the band’s roots while pushing their sound forward. It’s a bold declaration: they’re evolving, not fading—and they’re bringing the pit with them. The band is currently supporting Ice Nine Kills ahead of their own headlining summer run with TX2 and Unwell. —Paige Owens
