Chri$tian Gate$ — “Secrets”

For fans of dramatic, cinematic villain reveals and entrances.

Chri$tian Gate$ shared the dark music video for “Secrets,” from his debut LP NO STRINGS ATTACHED. Speaking about the album, the singer says he captured the moments that inspired the tracks “in a way that will always be relatable.” “This album really revolves around relationship issues—on both sides,” Christian states. “Even though I feel like I’ve grown beyond some of the experiences that inspired these songs, I still resonate with that younger version of myself.” The full-length is available to stream here

Boys Like Girls — “You’ll Be In My Heart”

For fans of covers where bands add their flair but keep the overall vibe of the original track.

As part of their collaboration with Disney Music, Boys Like Girls dropped the music video for their cover of “You’ll Be In My Heart.” The song originally appeared in the 1999 Tarzan film and was written and performed by Phil Collins. The track is featured on A Whole New Sound, a Disney pop-punk LP, which is available to stream here.

If Not For Me — “Say It To My Face” featuring Left To Suffer

For fans of those who aren’t afraid to call out problematic people.

If Not For Me and Left To Suffer teamed up for their latest track “Say It To My Face,” vocalist Patrick Glover says the song is about fake friends and being stabbed in the back. “I feel like it’s gotten increasingly more normalized and just easier to hide behind a screen instead facing somebody to talk out your problems,” he shares. “I think it’s a wildly relatable situation to feel betrayed by people around you in that way. It’s so disheartening to find out people you call friends have a very different perception of you.” If Not For Me hit the road next year, supporting Catch Your Breath alongside The Funeral Portrait and Archers. Census — “SPIRAL”

For fans of Rain City Drive in their To Better Days era.

Census released their third single following their 2023 EP everything falls apart with “SPIRAL.”  Balanced by electrifying synths, the group blends heavier bass progressions with a lighter post-hardcore mood. Where its predecessor, “OVERTHINK IT,” is guitar-driven and a bit slower-moving, “SPIRAL” features an upbeat tempo suitable for the dance floor.

Sophie Thatcher — “Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door”

For fans of movie and film actors who also know their way around a music staff.

Sophie Thatcher released a cover of Guns N’ Roses’ “Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door,” which is also featured in the Heretic movie soundtrack. Thatcher’s track is a haunting rendition of the rock n’ roll groove as her lilting voice compliments sweet acoustic guitar progressions. “The song works for the movie in many ways,” she says in a video posted to A24 socials. “I mean, literally ways. ‘Knockin On Heaven’s Door’ — missionaries go door-to-door preaching their faith… This is almost more like, dreamy and kind of spacey and atmospheric. It kind of just makes you want to sway.”

Paleface Swiss — “My Blood On Your Hands”

For fans of short tracks that still pack an insane punch.

Paleface Swiss shared “My Blood On Your Hands” from their upcoming full-length Cursed. Though only a minute and fifty-five seconds long, frontman Marc Zellweger says the track focuses on the feeling of dread that comes in the night when your life has amassed issues you can’t face. “You replay different scenarios in your mind, but just as you’re about to reach a resolution, you find yourself back at the beginning,” he states. “It keeps spiraling, growing worse and worse until you reach a point where you think, ‘It would be easier to die than to face this pain.’ The next morning, everything seems mostly fine—until night comes again.” Cursed drops on January 3 and is available to preorder here
