The much anticipated Netflix series, The Witcher, released imagery today and it’s beautiful. The story follows Geralt of Rivia, a solitary monster hunter, as his life collides with that of a powerful sorceress, and a princess with a dangerous secret. The three characters must learn to maneuver through an increasingly turbulent landscape together.
Based on the best-selling book and popular video game, the series stars Henry Cavill as Geralt, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer, and Freya Allen as Ciri. Fantasy fans have the chance to see the stars during a panel at Comic-Con San Diego on July 19, at 2 PM in hall h. Moderated by Yvette Nicole Brown, accomplished actress and sci-fi fan. Cavill, Chalotra, and Allan will be joined by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, who acts as showrunner for the upcoming series, for the CCSD panel. The Witcher is slated to come out with an 8 episode debut season before the end of 2019.
