After months of anticipation leading up to the final season of Netflix’s serial killer phenomenon You, the streaming giant has revealed that the series will return on April 24, 2025. Alongside the announcement, Netflix dropped a teaser video featuring Penn Badgley’s Joe Goldberg heading back to New York City, where his twisted story first took root. In the Instagram post of the teaser, the You account writes, “Back to where it all started. The killer finale of YOU is coming to Netflix April 24.”

In the one-minute preview, Badgley roams familiar streets as Joe Goldberg and revisits Mooney’s Rare and Used Books, narrating his return: “Do you remember me? Cause I remember you.” It’s unclear whether he’s talking to viewers, the bookstore, the city itself, or what lives in the basement of the store. He continues, “Here we are together again, back to where it began,” while flashbacks of his love interests—Beck, Love, Marienne, and Kate—as well as victims like Benji, Will, Sherry and Cari Conrad flicker onscreen.
