Just when you thought Netflix couldn’t take over your life any more, the streaming service has just announced it’s expanding into radio. Netflix has teamed up with SiriusXM to launch the new channel 93: Netflix is a Joke Radio. Yup, now you can listen to Netflix’s stand-up shows in the office while you work and NOT get yelled at by your boss.
“We are thrilled to feature some of the greatest and funniest performers in the world with highlights from Netflix shows as well as original programming that further celebrates the art of comedy, and we are excited to do this in partnership with SiriusXM.”
– Ted Sarandos, Netflix Chief Content Officer
The channel will feature highlights from Netflix’s huge list of comedians including Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, Ellen DeGeneres, Jerry Seinfeld, John Mulaney, Ken Jeong, Trevor Noah, Wanda Sykes, and many more. You’ll be able to listen to existing stand-up sets, comedic talk shows, as well as original radio programming. Just to make this even sweeter, you’ll get to hear segments from upcoming stand-up specials before their debut on Netflix.
