Following a successful tour last year, the Go-Go’s original members – Charlotte Caffey, Belinda Carlisle, Gina Schock, Kathy Valentine and Jane Wiedlin – have recorded their first album together in 16 years. The new record, “God Bless the Go-Go’s,” was produced by the respected team of Paul Kolderie and Sean Slade, best known for their work on Hole’s “Live Through This,” as well as Radiohead’s “The Bends” and “Pablo Honey.” Special guests appearing on the new release include Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, who co-wrote, added back-up vocals and plays guitars for the first single, “Unforgiven” and singer/songwriter Jill Sobule, who co-wrote “Daisy Chain.”
Go-Go’s fans will unite and celebrate the band’s first album in 16 years as they tune in to this exclusive world premiere and hear the entire new album, “God Bless the Go-Go’s,” before anyone else.
