Superstar Missy Elliott is currently in the studio working on her new album, This Is Not A Test, which will be released on November 25, according to MTV.com.
The first single from the set is “Pass The Dutch.” This Is Not A Test is slated to include guest appearances from Jay-Z, R. Kelly, Alicia Keys, and Busta Rhymes, and the production of Timbaland.
This Is Not A Test is Elliott’s fifth solo set. The rapper’s last release, 2002’s Under Construction, peaked at Number Three on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
In related news, Elliott is one of the artists featured on the forthcoming compilation from Violator Management, V3: The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly, which hits stores on December 9. Many of the artists represented by Violator Management which is headed by Chris Lighty will appear on the set including: Elliott, Mobb Deep, Lil’ Mo, Capone-N-Noreaga, Busta Rhymes, 50 Cent, G-Unit, and the recently re-united A Tribe Called Quest.
