Mick Jagger will be the subject of a one-hour TV special on Thanksgiving night (November 22) on ABC. Being Mick chronicles the past year in Jagger’s life, and includes scenes from the recording studio as he worked on his upcoming solo album, Goddess In The Doorway, with guests including U2’s Bono, the Who’s Pete Townshend, Wyclef Jean, Lenny Kravitz, and others.
It also shows Jagger the family man, including scenes of him playing with his children at home in London and on holiday in Mustique and the French Riviera; recording daughters Elizabeth and Georgia May doing background vocals for the new album; discussing the British tabloids with eldest daughter Jade; and son Gabriel and ex-wife Jerry Hall visiting the recording studio.
In addition, the show includes scenes of Jagger on the set of the film Enigma, which he produced, and at the movie’s Royal Premiere, which was attended by Prince Charles.
Being Mick airs November 22 at 10 p.m. ET. Goddess In The Doorway comes out two days earlier (November 20).
