As if Disneyland wasn’t already killing it with the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, they’ve had construction permits approved by the city of Anaheim for a new superhero-themed section. Work has begun on an interactive experience highlighting the superheroes of Marvel comics and movies reported Los Angeles Times. The area of Disney California Adventure Park previously known as “A Bug’s Land” is now wrapped in a sleek privacy fence printed with the “Stark Industries” logo.
With construction permits valuing somewhere around $14 million the new superhero land will feature a microbrewery, character meet and greet area, and huge spiderman themed merchandise outlet. No news yet of what rides will be located in the new attraction but funny enough, the area that Marvel supers will call home cannot have “Marvel” in the name due to licensing legalities. Knowing just how much fun Disney makes their parks the Marvel-themed land is SUPER exciting.
