If you’re watching Disney Jr. with your the kiddos, you may get an “awesome” new punk-tinged theme song in your life. blink-182‘s Mark Hoppus revealed that he crafted the theme song, “Totally Awesome,” for the Disney Jr. animated series Iron Man and His Awesome Friends. And yes… it is a banger, of course.
This is not the first time an emo legend has crafted a Disney Jr. superhero TV show theme song—hyperspecific, I know. In 2023, Fall Out Boy‘s Patrick Stump made the theme for Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends. Stump also crossed into the DC realm in 2023, and made the soundtrack for Merry Little Batman.
Check out Hoppus’ instantly iconic children’s television show theme song below and catch the show with your kids, nieces, nephews, grandkids, etc., beginning on August 11 on Disney Jr. and Disney+.
Beginning in August, you can catch blink-182 on the road with Alkaline Trio, as well as Beauty School Dropout, Drug Church, Landon Barker, End It, Liily, and Scowl on select dates. Then, the rock trio will play various fall festivals, such as Aftershock and When We Were Young. Check out their run below and grab tickets here.
