A man attending a rap concert that featured Snoop Dogg, Ludacris, Xzibit, Obie Trice, Lil Jon & The EastSide Boyz, and 213 was stabbed to death during the nine-hour show in Devore, California, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Paul Molina, 29, of Huntington Park, California was found with stab wounds to his upper body Saturday night (October 4), in the bathroom of the Hyundai Pavilion at Glen Helen Regional Park in Devore, California. He was pronounced dead at San Bernardino Community Hospital. Molina’s death did not stop the concert which was sponsored by Los Angeles radio station, KPWR-FM, also known as Power 106.
The station’s general manager Val Maki shared how saddened he was by Molina’s death with MTV, “All of us are very saddened that this incident occurred. We take the safety and security of our fans very seriously. We’ve never had an incident such as this at one of our events. Our hearts go out to the friends and loved ones who are affected.”
At press time police were still investigating several leads according to a spokesperson from the San Bernardino County’s Sheriff’s Department, but no arrests had been made.
