After being convicted in 2013 of multiple sexual offenses—including the assault of several young children and possession of extreme child and animal pornography—former Lostprophets frontman Ian Watkins was sentenced to 29 years in prison. On the morning of October 11, 2025, Watkins was murdered by fellow inmates at HM Prison Wakefield.
