Linkin Park took some time off in between OzzFest dates to lens the video for its next single, “In The End” last week. DJ Joseph Hahn and Nathan Cox co-produced the clip, which was shot in Culver City, California. It depicts the band playing in a desert, which comes to life as the video progresses.
Linkin Park has had a whirlwind trip to the top. Hybrid Theory was released in late 2000 and went on to spawn the modern rock hits “One Step Closer” and “Crawling.” This week it rose to Number 10 on the Billboard 200. LAUNCH asked singer Chester Bennington about the band’s climb. “It’s all been pretty surreal. I know the band has been around for about four and a half years, so they’ve been putting a lot more work and time into it than I have,” he said. “I’ve only been in the band for two years so it’s gone really fast for me. The whole experience has been a little overwhelming, but very rewarding.”
