Ahead of their upcoming full-length, Adventure ClubLaura Jane Grace In The Trauma Tropes has gifted us a gritty punk Pride anthem, “Wearing Black.” Jane Grace sings, “I’ll wear my rainbow another day/My pride’s a riot, it’s not a parade/Too much Molly and the Spirit Brigade/I’ll see you there at the front of the stage!/Wearing black to the pride parade/ACAB but the gays are OK!”

Set for release on July 18 via Polyvinyl Record Co., Adventure Club also boasts singles, “Active Trauma,” “Mine Me Mine” and “Your God (God’s D*ck).”

“Wearing Black” music video director E. Esperanza shared on Instagram, “Thank you Laura Jane Grace [and] Paris Campbell Grace for writing this queer anthem and letting me make this super gay video for you. Sometimes a project really wants to get made and that was the case with this video – synchronicities abound.”

They add, “Art is important! Be gay! Fuck ICE!”

The artist will be making her way through many cities this summer and winter. Check out Jane Grace’s upcoming shows below and grab tickets for a venue near you.
