Is a Twilight saga reboot a possibility? Well, according to Kristen Stewart, aka the OG Bella Swan, it could be a reality! While at the Palm Springs International Film Festival Creative Impact Awards, celebrating being named one of Variety’s “10 Directors to Watch” for The Chronology of Water, Stewart shared the idea with Entertainment Tonight.
While on the red carpet, Entertainment Tonight asked the artist about the difference between her acting and directing modes, advice to her younger self, and yes…a possible Twilight reboot.
Stewart shared, “I love what all of the directors did with the movies. [The Twilight movies] were so themselves and weird and kind of like, squirrelly, and just so present in that time when they didn’t really know what they were yet, like before they blew up.”
She added, “Imagine if we had a huge budget and a bunch of love and support. Yeah, sure, I’ll do the remake. I’m doing it, I’m committed!”
