Stay tuned…because this fall is going to be a big one for Knox and all of his fans. The artist is ready to release his new album, My Midwest Best, on October 2. But first, he offered a taste of what’s to come with the new single, “4.3 Forty,” which was actually filmed in his hometown of New Carlisle, Ohio.
Knox says of the new release, “‘4.3 Forty’ is about someone who talks like they’re all in until things get real. The second I told her I loved her, it felt like she ran a 4.3 forty in the opposite direction. It’s definitely one of the funniest concepts on the album, but underneath that it’s really about realizing not everyone is ready for the same kind of commitment.”
The artist adds of his record, “‘My Midwest Best’ is my proudest work to date. It’s the culmination of all the music I grew up listening to and all the music I learned how to make along the way. A representation of where I’m from and what it sounded like growing up in the middle of nowhere, Ohio.”
