Following in her father’s footsteps, Kelly Osbourne will sing for the first time on stage during the MTV Movie Awards.
The pink-haired, 17-year-old daughter of Ozzy Osbourne will perform her cover of Madonna’s “Papa Don’t Preach” during the awards show Saturday at Los Angeles’ Shrine Auditorium.
The show is scheduled to air at 9 p.m. EDT June 6, with Jack Black and Sarah Michelle Gellar as hosts. Eminem and The White Stripes are scheduled to perform, with presenters including Ben Affleck, Bow Wow, Eve, Ewan McGregor, Winona Ryder and Charlize Theron.
“The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring” has the most nominations with six.
Kelly Osbourne recorded a version of Madonna’s defiant 1986 hit for “The Osbourne Family Album,” which comes out June 11. Her younger brother, Jack, helped produce the track, and members of Incubus backed her up.
MTV announced this week that it will begin airing in the fall a second season of “The Osbournes,” its most popular series ever, which chronicles the heavy metal icon’s home life.
