Ozzfest 2001 has undergone its first lineup change after just one show.
Tour spokespersons estimated that twenty thousand fans, many from a less-than-ideal vantage point, clogged the second stage to see Chicago’s own Disturbed perform at the event’s Friday kick-off in Tinley Park, Illinois. Witnessing the overwhelming crowd response, organizers bumped the band from closing out the second stage to joining the big boys on the main stage, sandwiched between Crazy Town and Linkin Park.
The change took effect Saturday at the Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, Wisconsin.
Ozzfest continues its path of devilish debauchery today in Indianapolis.
