Independent record label, Hopeless Records, has announced a crowdfunding campaign for Sub City Studios. Sub City Studios will provide an encouraging environment for teens who are passionate about music, and will be available to them after school and on breaks. The studio will offer youth a safe place away from gangs, drugs and violence, and will help them learn skills needed in the music industry today. Sub City Studios is the project of the label, as well as its non-profit organization Sub City and New Directions For Youth, a youth development organization. The studio will be built in San Fernando Valley, as part of New Directions For Youth’s new facility. Those who contribute to the studio can pick from a variety of packages, including meet and greets with Hopeless Records bands, recording time with well-known producers, and Hopeless Records merchandise.
