Oh, we are soooooo back, everyone. On August 30, Travie McCoy stunned at PNC Park during a Savannah Bananas and Pittsburgh Pirates baseball game. The Gym Class Heroes singer surprised fans with a special performance and announced that the band is gearing up to release new music. Get ready, because the band is dropping a new record in 2026—their first since 2011’s The Papercut Chronicles II.
Savannah Bananas player Dalton Mauldin ushered in the performance and sang Bruno Mars’ part in his and McCoy’s collab, “Billionaire.” McCoy continued with a medley of band hits such as “The Fighter” and “Stereo Hearts,” with backup dance help from the cool players in the Bananas family.
Stay tuned for forthcoming Gym Class Heroes new album updates and check out the Savannah Bananas performance below.
Notably, McCoy has been working on solo music throughout the past years, including 2022’s LP Never Slept Better, out now via Hopeless Records.
