After nearly a decade, the Growing Up Is Dumb Festival is making its return to Los Angeles. The DIY/emo fest will be presented by Lauren Records on April 5 at The Echoplex beginning at 4 PM PT.
Headliners include Algernon Cadwallader, Ging Nang Boyz, and you can catch performances from The Taxpayers, Dogs On Acid, and more.
In fact, Dogs On Acid shared, “Excited as hell to announce Dogs on Acid will be officially reuniting for this officially off the fucking chain gigfest.”
Plus, for fans of Walter Mitty and His Makeshift Orchestra, the act shared, “Playing GUID festival in LA in April! At our last show Aaron, the festival boss, mentioned how hard the Cliche Defintions of Success songs go as a full band, so as a thank you to him for putting together this fest for literally no pay we will perform Cliche in its entirety and then Overwhelmed and Underdressed in its entirety.”
