Grayscale is helping fans beat the heat with their sun-soaked new single “Summer Clothes.” The vibrant new track acts as the latest preview to the band’s forthcoming, currently untitled full-length album, which is scheduled to arrive in early 2025.

“The music Grayscale has been writing is focused heavily on who we are, how we were raised, and where we are from,” vocalist Collin Walsh shares in a press release.” If you live in the Northeast or anywhere with cold seasons, you know that there comes a time every year where you swap winter clothes into storage and break out your summer clothes for the year. This annual ceremony is always associated with good feelings, stories, nostalgia, and happiness. We wrote a song about that feeling.”

The guitar-heavy, sugary-sweet summer anthem “Summer Clothes” instantly captures youthful energy, making it the perfect soundtrack for the longest days of the year. Abandoning their pop-punk/emo roots, the track elevates the band to a shimmering pop realm jammed with infectious melodies and rhythms. The music video, brimming with playful chaos, features the group hanging out with all kinds of cold-blooded creatures, playing chicken in the pool while dressed as certain political figures, and indulging in a mouthful of marshmallows. Unpack your “Summer Clothes” and check out the new Grayscale single/video below.

Grayscale is currently on the road supporting Boys Like Girls. Following their support run, the group will perform a handful of headline dates before hitting the road with Marianas Trench this fall. Check out their full touring schedule below and grab tickets to see them live here.
