Leading up to their first independently released fourth studio album, The Hart, Grayscale has unleashed their emotional latest offering, Don’t Leave Me In The Dark.” The new single is the sixth glimpse into the 12-track album, preceding “Kept Me Alive,” “Not Afraid To Die,” “Mum II,” “Let Go,” and “Summer Clothes.”

The track opens with a gentle instrumental build before bursting into the band’s signature high-energy sound, led by Collin Walsh’s soaring vocals. The anthemic chorus pulses with emotion, capturing the raw desperation of wanting, maybe needing, a loved one to heal. Walsh’s heartfelt lyrics hit hard: “They overmedicate for money, they don’t really want to help/All I want for you is peace and sleep and sunlight on your face.” The song’s emotional ebbs and flows mirror the urgency of its message, balancing intensity with vulnerability.
