Ahead of their upcoming hometown Philadelphia shows this week, Grayscale has officially dropped The Hart Deluxe version. After releasing the original LP on January 31 2025, the new release sees the band teaming up with industry veterans to give new flavor to those OG hits. In fact, Grayscale collabed with Cassadee Pope (Hey Monday) on a deluxe version of “Painting Over You,” complete with an accompanying music video. And yes…it’s even more heartbreaking than you could imagine. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
The band also tapped The Wonder Years for “Not Afraid To Die,” Derek Sanders for “Mum II,” and more.
Frontman Collin Walsh notes, “Having our friends all jump on songs that we love, for a record we adore so much, meant the world to us. We haven’t done a ton of features before, so doing this with artists we love and have toured with over the years, all in one concentrated album, was crazy, chaotic, and so fun. Thankful for all of the talented people we’ve met along our journey, including some we’ve always looked up to since we were kids who gave these songs their touch.”
