The Recording Academy just announced a long list of nominations for the forthcoming 2025 Grammy Awards. Excitingly, many rising pop artists lead the pack with Album Of The Year and Best New Artist nominations—we see you Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter. Additionally, some of our favorite rock and metal artists topped the list this year.
For starters, Knocked Loose and Poppy are up for Best Metal Performance for “Suffocate.” Additionally, Green Day is walking away with three nominations for Best Rock Album, Best Rock Performance (The American Dream Is Killing Me”), and Best Rock Song (“Dilemma”).
