Former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell was to give a morale-boosting concert to 10,000 troops in Oman for a giant military exercise next month.
Then organisers realized that the concert clashed with England’s crucial World Cup qualifier against Greece on October 6. Now a giant television screen is being erected at their Camp South base.
“The show is to be delayed two hours so the lads can watch the football,” a defence spokesman said on Thursday.
