Blnko — “Donde Vivimos Juntos”

For those who miss the bad old days.

Hailing from Guadalajara, Mexico, Blnko is a young talent known for blending pop-punk and hip-hop elements in his music, directly drawing from the songs of his youth for his sound. With his namesake directly referencing blink-182, his latest single, “Donde Vivimos Juntos,” leans into nostalgia with heartfelt lyrics reminiscing on what it’s like to be young and reckless. Co-written by Chris Freeman of Hot Mulligan and Jayden Seeley, formerly of With Confidence, the song’s pop-punk essence fused with that signature Mexico scene sound is such an immersive experience and shows off Blnko’s unique style and his roots in Guadalajara. —Sasha

Knox — “Pick Your Poison”

If you need a song that sounds like a glass of lemonade with a shot of gin.

Knox does it again. This is the common theme at this point with every song he drops. “Pick Your Poison” continues Knox’s quest to become the danciest artist who plays guitar. The song takes you on a journey of what sounds like two young college kids meeting at a party while pouring drinks, one of them being a bad influence on the other. Relive the best night of your life in a great song again, and ask yourself what poison you would choose. —Fish

Grayscale — “Through The Landslide”

For fans of dizzily dancing through your pain and feeling like the main character of a coming-of-age film.

Marking a bold new chapter in their career, Grayscale has poured their heart and soul into their independently released fourth studio album, The Hart. This profoundly personal record sees the band returning to their roots, stripping their sound to its emotional core while maintaining the momentum they built throughout the 2010s. Among the album’s standout moments is “Through The Landslide,” a track that embodies their raw vulnerability and soaring melodies, proving once again why they remain one of the most compelling voices in the alternative scene. ENOX — “Orion”

Bladerunner 2049, but make it metalcore.

When a ‘core band gets the right amount of melodic and heavy, it’s pure magic, perfectly describing ENOX‘s latest track banger. “Orion” (named after the constellation) is a track about existential questions that can send one into a deep, consuming darkness. Matching emotionally heavy lyrical content with beefy riffage and a soaring chorus, this track will make listeners feel like floating through space while headbanging and grooving. The cherry on top of the track is undoubtedly the out-of-this-world, stop-you-in-your-tracks vocal build-up and breakdown, which easily stand out as one of the best of the year so far. Orion further solidifies ENOX as one of the most underrated metalcore bands. —Patrick Walford

RAT BOY — “PUBLIC WARNING”

The soundtrack to learning your first kickflip.

“PUBLIC WARNING” from RAT BOY brings you back to early 2000s skate punk so fast you might get whiplash. Imagine popping in the VHS tape to the Baker 3 (2005) compilation video and becoming all consumed by the soundtrack. RAT BOY has delivered that in its full modern glory. Everything about this track oozes nostalgia, but in a way that if you didn’t know any better, you genuinely wouldn’t be able to tell the song is brand new. This is a compliment. They absolutely knocked it out of the park with the vibe here. 10/10 track that might make me pick up my skateboard for the first time in years. —Tate Logan
