Inspired by a poem Kalenian stumbled upon, “Escape” wrestles with the push and pull of grief. The song channels the delicate yet volatile dance between euphoria and devastation. It unfolds in reverb-drenched guitar lines stretching like restless ghosts and crashing drums that live between longing and surrender. “Escape” is featured on the pair’s forthcoming EP, too scared to explain.
