It’s an increasingly diverse club, the old celebrity sex tape clique. And according to the tabloids today, it looked as if Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz had joined the likes of Paris Hilton, Tommy Lee, and Pamela Anderson, as steamy footage of the bass-wielding star getting all saucy with a young lady started circulating on the Internet.
Alas, Wentz was quick to explain (on his blog, of course) that the footage is simply a scene from a short film called Goodnight Moon.
“I just wanted to put the word out on the streets/the internet [that] there is no Pete Wentz sex tape in existence,” he wrote.
“About a year-and-a-half ago I took part in an indie gore/horror short film as a favour to my friend Nathan – called ‘Goodnight Moon’. Either way I’m not into being an actor or having a sex tape either sooooooooo, hopefully you can deal with it…”
