The universe (or, at least, the folks at Warner Bros.) has delivered us an amazing trailer for one of our favorite stories: The Sun is Also a Star. Adapted from Nicola Yoon’s gorgeous YA novel of the same name, the film follows Natasha (Yara Shahidi) and Daniel (Charles Melton), two star-crossed lovers. Natasha believes in science and fact; Daniel believes in fate and love. With just one day to fall in love, can they meet in the middle?
Starring two of idobi’s faves, this trailer is packed full of chemistry, fear, fate, NYC, and wonder. And ooh, the romance. The Sun Is Also a Star opens on May 17th—’til then get all the feels from the trailer below (or read the book…twice) and start drawing the connections held within.
