After more than three years of silence, Circa Survive are officially back, and Philadelphia showed up immediately. Alongside their addition to the Louder Than Life 2026 lineup, the band announced a hometown reunion show with a simple message: “Philly, we’re coming home.” The response was instant. The date sold out instantly.
With demand surging, Anthony Green and co. quickly added two more Philadelphia shows, thanking fans for selling out the first night “so quickly” and citing “overwhelming demand” for the expansion. Tickets for the newly added dates go on sale today at 3 PM local time.
In 2022, the band announced an “indefinite hiatus” in a statement to fans, writing, “Many of you have asked where things stand with us and to be totally transparent, our future is currently uncertain. For the time being, we’re considering Circa on an indefinite hiatus. We want to thank you for all your love and support, especially over the last few years which were the hardest we have ever had to endure. Extra special thanks to the creatures.”
However, in a 2025 interview on HardLore podcast, Green clarified, “I’d call it a breakup. I think hiatus was thrusted upon us. But it’s hard to talk about all that stuff because Circa wasn’t just a band for me. We were like a family. You know what I mean? And when that sh*t went down — talk about things I wish I would have done different, you know? When all that sh*t went down, it was such a heartbreaking thing. We, I, never imagined it going away the way it went, none of us did.”
