After sharing the news that she’d have to drop from the Emo’s Not Dead Cruise lineup, Hey Monday‘s Cassadee Pope has officially shared what project she has in the works. And yes, it is a major piece of exciting news for the artist.
On December 5, Pope announced that she is joining the cast of Titanique, an off-Broadway musical parody of the hit movie Titanic. One of the most iconic alternative singers from the scene will be playing the role of Rose.

On Instagram, Pope shared, “I’ve been dying to tell you about this. As of January 18th, I will be playing the part of Rose in the hilarious @titaniquemusical in NYC! I saw this show in September and will never be the same, so to actually be a part of it is WILD. Can’t wait to board the ship of dreams 8 times a week and start this next chapter.”
