Jonas Brothers tour dates just keep getting more and more alternative. The band, currently on their JONAS 20: Greetings From Your Hometown tour, is bringing out surprise guests at each tour stop. On August 17 in Hershey, PA, the trio introduced none other than Cartel to the stage to perform “Say Anything (Else).”
Will Pugh and Joe Jonas took on the vocals together, and yes, we’re emo about it. TBH, this might be the best marketing for Chroma 2025, their re-recorded LP, which will arrive on September 12 via Field Day Records.
This isn’t the first emo mainstay who has appeared as a special guest on the Jonas 20 run. Inspired heavily by the early aughts scene, Jonas Brothers also brought up The Click Five, Demi Lovato, All Time Low, and we’re hopeful that more alt guests are on the way. In fact, in their second act in Hershey, Jonas Brothers also brought out Hoobastank for “The Reason.” Check it out below.
Beginning in September, you can catch Cartel on the 20th anniversary Chroma tour. “It’s a privilege to still have the opportunity to share this with all the people who celebrate this record alongside us,” frontman Pugh shares. “It’s hard to put into words the level of gratitude we have for this moment, and we hope that is conveyed during this anniversary.”
