Ready to feel old today? Cartel has announced details for the release of the 20 year anniversary of their breakout record, Chroma. The album, Chroma 2025, has been re-recorded and will be released on September 12 via Field Day Records.
Additionally, the band will be performing at Warped Tour in DC and Long Beach before launching into their 20 year anniversary tour in September. The band will be supported by Hunny, Landon Conrath, and Macseal.
“It’s a privilege to still have the opportunity to share this with all the people who celebrate this record alongside us,” frontman Will Pugh shares. “It’s hard to put in to words the level of gratitude we have for this moment, and we hope that is conveyed during this anniversary.”
He continues, “The whole idea was to bring Chroma into a modern place sonically and reconcile the live versions of these songs with what is on record. Our hope is that current fans will rock out harder and that new fans will be able to discover these songs in a modern context.”
