Broadside just dropped their brilliant new banger, “Control Freak,” for your weekend playlists. Preceded by “Dark Passenger,” “Blissed Out,” “Warning Signs,” “Someone You Need,” and “I Think They Know,” the new single is set to appear on the group’s fifth record, Nowhere, At Last, due for release on April 10, via Thriller Records.
Released alongside a brand new music video, Broadside are fully in the most exciting chapter of their careers. With dance-inducing guitar lines and soaring vocals, it’s fair to say we’re elated for the full LP launch.
Oliver Baxxter took to social media to share, “Most of you know we’ve been chasing this for years – and the art, integrity, and heart have been present in every step. I’m blessed to create and express the human struggle through the bond of art. I’m so lucky to have Broadside… and I’m lucky to have you. As we approach our 5th album, know this: there’s never been a stride we’ve taken without intention. I don’t have a plan B, I don’t want a plan B. I love you. Thank you. Lose control if you have to… just don’t lose your purpose.”
