Britney Spears has canceled her scheduled concert on NBC’s Today show. The singer nixed the performance because the NBC aired a less-than-flattering feature about her, titled “Britney Unzipped,” on Dateline Sunday, that the singer was reportedly none too pleased about.
Recently, Pink pulled out of a NBC’s Today show concert scheduled for Friday (November 14) after being told the concert would be canceled if she appeared onLive! With Regis And Kelly. Pink did appear on Regis on Tuesday, and as a bonus, she met one of her idols, Madonna, for the first time. Pink will now perform on ABC’sGood Morning America Friday instead.
Spears is set to release her fourth album, In The Zone, on November 18. Spears’ other upcoming TV appearances include Primetime Live on November 13, Jimmy Kimmel Live on November 13, MTV’s In The Zone & Out All Night on November 15, the American Music Awards on November 16, the Tonight Show With Jay Leno on November 17, MTV’s TRL on November 18, and Live! With Regis And Kelly on November 24.
Meanwhile, “God Is A DJ” will be the next single from Pink’s new album, Try This. Pink’s upcoming appearances include the Late Show With David Letterman on November 13, the American Music Awards on November 16, Prime Time Thursdayon November 20, the Tonight Show With Jay Leno on December 8, and Ellen DeGeneres on December 9.
