Limp Bizkit plans to have something special under the tree for its fans this year.
According to a post by Fred Durst on www.limpbizkit.com, the band is preparing a “tight ass” remix album and DVD, to be titled Limp Remizkit. Sean “P. Diddy” Combs, the Neptunes, Timabland, William Orbit, DJ Lethal, DJ Premiere, Durst and Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland are all slated to do remixes for the album, which will also feature guest spots by Bubba Sparxxx, 8 Ball and E40.
Durst also said that the group is also working on a DVD that will include remix versions of the band’s music videos, never-seen outtakes from videos and home video footage from Limp’s own archive, as well as all of the band’s previously-released music videos. “It’s going to be the illest DVD experience yet to date,” Durst writes.
Representatives of Interscope Records couldn’t confirm a release date, but Durst’s post indicated that he hopes to have the project done and on sale for the holiday season.
