The Smashing Pumpkins recently wrapped up a 2024 tour with Green Day, but lead singer Billy Corgan is staying busy with a new addition to his family. The frontman and his wife Chloe Mendel, who tied the knot in 2023, announced in a People Exclusive that their baby Juno Corgan came into the world on March 18.
Juno is now the youngest of three behind the couple’s kiddos Augustus and Philomena. Per People, Juno was born at home in Highland Park, Illinois.
Corgan shared with the magazine, “My wife, Chloe is doing well and recovering, and baby Juno is happy, healthy, and nursing with gusto. We are so touched by all the kind wishes of support and love, and thank those who helped Chloé and baby have such a safe, and peaceful, home birth.”
The new dad of three is still set to take on festival stages this summer ahead of the 30th anniversary celebration with the Lyric Opera of Chicago for “A Night Of Mellon Collie And Infinite Sadness.” Check out The Smashing Pumpkins’ upcoming shows below and grab tickets here.
