Besphrenz—the Philadelphia trio comprised of dual vocalists C.J. Smith and Tay Richardson, along with producer and instrumentalist Rob Devious—has announced the details of their forthcoming debut full-length album. Titled bert the 13-track record is scheduled to arrive on October 24, 2025.

In addition to the album announcement, the band has also unleashed the lead single, “yeah.” The track features fellow Philadelphians—Circa Survive/L.S. Dunes frontman Anthony Green and Good Old War vocalist/guitarist/keyboardist Keith Goodwin. The band has been actively teasing the collaboration for several weeks across their social media platforms, dropping short audio clips since mid-April.

Speaking about his feature on “yeah,” Anthony Green shares, “When Keith asked me about this project I instantly said yes. Rob has been an essential part of my last few records and all the stuff they work on is so inspired. I’m honored to be a part of this song”

Keith Goodwin adds, “I’m always down to make music with Besphrenz. They have created a very free flowing creative space where all ideas are heard and welcomed.  “yeah” is cool to me because it reminds me of “Scenerio” in that everyone in this group of friends gets a verse.”
