Super Bowl LX was one for the books, and not because of its commercials or the teams on the field. Bad Bunny, aka the world’s most-streamed artist, took to the field for the official Apple Music halftime show. And early reports suggest this might be the most-viewed halftime show to date, with a whopping 135+ million viewers, edging out Kendrick Lamar’s previous record of 133.5 million viewers for the 2025 halftime show.

Of course, these numbers absolutely blow away Turning Point USA’s All-American Halftime Show—an alternative to the Bad Bunny show, despite the artist being a literal American—which garnered a measly estimated 4-5 million views. According to new reports, the abysmal show was also pre-recorded.

Bad Bunny, the Grammy winner, who just took home the win for Album Of The Year with DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS, played fan-favorites, including “Tití me preguntó” and “EoO.”

The iconic star brought out a few cameos, including Lady Gaga, who played a salsa version of her track “Die With a Smile” and Ricky Martin, who sang a verse from the anti-colonial anthem “Lo Que Le Pasó a Hawái.” Viewers also had the chance to catch a glimpse of Latin A-listers dancing it up on the field, including Pedro Pascal, Jessica Alba, Cardi B, and Karol G.

Celebrating his Puerto Rican culture, Bad Bunny made many nods to his home, such as incorporating back-up dancers wearing pavas and working in sugar cane fields, street vendors selling coco frio and piragua, men playing dominoes, a visit to NYC’s La Marqueta, and beyond.

He concluded his dazzling show with an important message: The only thing more powerful than hate is love. Bad Bunny also held up a football with the message “We Are America” as he flew flags from every American nation, from Canada and Mexico to Colombia, Brazil, Costa Rica, and more.

And to add insult to injury for the Kid Rock lovers at Turning Point USA, Green Day helped kick off the whole Super Bowl LX by playing a handful of their most political songs, including “Holiday,” “Boulevard of Broken Dreams,” and “American Idiot.”
