Acres just dropped a cinematic, deliciously devilish new music video, “Bloodlust.” On top of this release, the quartet also announced their forthcoming seven-track album, The Host, is set to arrive on May 2 via Solid State Records.

Singer Ben Lumber explains, “‘Bloodlust’ is a track about a toxic relationship between you and addiction, we call ‘The Host.’ It’s about giving in and giving up to it. You know it’s bad for you, but you can’t live without it. It’s the perfect way to start the record, a first peek into the downward spiral of letting the host in and letting it consume you.”

Of the forthcoming record, Lumber adds, “The Host represents a bold step in a new direction for us as a band. We’ve always pushed ourselves to evolve with every album and never write the same record twice. This time, the process was unlike anything we’ve done before, working with Landon Tewers brought a fresh perspective and added a new flair to our sound that we’re really excited about!”

Acres will be on various tours this 2025 supporting the likes of The Plot In You, Beartooth, and The Devil Wears Prada. Check out their upcoming performance dates below and grab tickets here.
