To celebrate the release of his eagerly awaited fourth full-length album, Love In Stereo, which arrived via Warner Records in February of this year, MAX stopped by the idobi Radio studios in North Hollywood, CA, to bring his new viral sensation “STUPID IN LOVE” and his 2016 breakout single “Lights Down Low” to life.

At the time of “Lights Down Low”’s release, MAX shared with Yahoo! News, “I wrote ‘Lights Down Low’ right after I started dating Emily [MAX’s now-wife]. And I knew I was just gonna write a song that I wanted for her. I just wanted to dedicate something to her. I just knew she was it, and I knew I was gonna marry her. It was wild. I just literally knew.”

Capturing the same deep-rotted passion and emotional resonance as the original release, MAX envelops the studio space with his vibrant vocal range, creating a wave of raw authenticity. Accompanied by the gentle strum of an acoustic guitar and the delicate melody of soothing keys, MAX’s performance elevates the room to a transcendent state marked by a declaration of the song’s central theme: love. As the track gracefully reaches its conclusion, the synergy between the three musicians reaches a natural peak, culminating with a synchronized outro, punctuating the air with the crisp, rhythmic snap of their fingers.
