So, set aside the fact that McDonald’s has a showcase at SXSW (read: the shark has been jumped, people) and check this story out. The ba-da-da-da-da happiness jingle slinger asked up-and-coming band, Ex Cops, to play for free as a trade for exposure… Wait… I need more ELLIPSES………… Let’s set this straight gigantic corporations: IF you want to play in our sandbox, you need to bring the sand, the shovels, and the squeaky old see-saw that pinches your hands if you get too close to the middle. We’ll be out in full force at SXSW this year, so we’ll report back if we hear about any other companies that sell BILLIONS of things daily decide not to break us off a piece of our own Kit Kat bar.
