Our favorite rebellious, loudmouth, YUNGBLUD, has returned with his groundbreaking new single “Lowlife.” The track marks YUNGBLUD’s first taste of new music in 2023 and arrives via Locomotion/Geffen Records. With this track, the UK sensation sheds the skin of his previous releases and enters a new era.

YUNGBLUD‘s latest endeavor serves as a testament to his unwavering commitment to using music as a unifying force and a catalyst for radical change, while also allowing him to reconnect with his sonic roots. With an intensity and an abundance of passion, “Lowlife” emerges as a relentless, rebellious, and high-powered anthem. It flawlessly blends edgy melodies, funky basslines, a sing-along chorus, and BLUD’s signature tongue-in-cheek lyrics.

In essence, “Lowlife” symbolizes YUNGBLUD‘s evolution while staying true to his core identity. It serves as a powerful call to arms to push authenticity and embrace your inner demons, resonating with an audience seeking sincerity and transformative change.

“I wrote ‘Lowlife’ because I just didn’t want to leave my house,” YUNGBLUD shares of his latest effort. “I was sick of people, of games, of myself, my friends, anytime I did anything some idiot had an opinion about it. What I should do or be. The truth is I didn’t want to be anything at all sometimes, I wanted to be nothing. So I just didn’t leave bed. I was dissatisfied and craving some sort of boredom. The type of boredom where you sit in your house, in the same sheets, and watch fucking mind-numbing TV, so I wrote a song about it.”

After wrapping up his stint throughout North America earlier this spring, YUNGBLUD will hit the road again, first overseas and then through the US with The Regrettes as support. You can check out his touring schedule below and grab tickets here.
