Weathers Share Shimmering New Track “She Hates Me”

Weathers are getting closer and closer to the release of their new album Are We Having Fun?, and the taster tracks are getting more and more extravagant.

They’ve shared “She Hates Me”, the third offering from the record, and it is a shimmering piece of glitzy pop-rock with a rather blunt message at its core. The glitter and glam can’t mask the message of the song, focusing on self-improvement and those who make your journey all the more difficult. It’s a beautiful juxtaposition of hard-hitting reality and dancefloor-filling groove.

Frontman Cameron Boyer had this to say about it:

“‘She Hates Me’ is about those times you’re trying to work on yourself but someone comes along and completely ruins that. They flip everything upside down and make you question what you really want. And then you go back and forth till, eventually, you piss that person off.”

And here it is:

Weathers’ new album Are We Having Fun? is set for release on May 5th via Sumerian Records.

This is what the band had to say about what it means to them:

“With our new album, we wanted to not try so hard. Instead, we wanted to dig deep from our past and pull from music we listened to growing up. In the end, we got a body of work that’s a little heavier, more raw, and way more emotional and honest than anything we’ve done in the past.”

It will also feature the incredible “ALL CAPS” featuring John The Ghost:
