Ahead of their upcoming tour with Rain City Drive, Until I Wake has released a striking metal track “The Reverence,” produced by The Plot In You‘s Landon Tewers. The song is preceded by the August release of “Hole Hearted.”

Vocalist Justin Smith shares, “‘The Reverence’ is a big ‘f**k you’ to all the people who try to shit on you, to the people who tried to shit on me when I joined the band, to the teachers in school who would try to convince me music was a waste of time, and to the ones who hate themselves so much, their only joy in life is to drag people down to their level cause they’re too afraid to take risks and chase something for themselves. Deep within this risk-taking group of individuals is an unspoken respect, therefore the name ‘The Reverence.'”

Guitarist Niko Karras adds, “I wrote the instrumental after leaving the gym in about three hours before heading to Landon’s studio. I had so much adrenaline after working out, we ended up making the heaviest song we have ever written.”

Beginning in late September, you can catch Until I Wake on the road supporting Rain City Drive, along with BelmontSiamese, and Nightlife . Check out the run below and secure your tickets here.
