Seattle-based all-girl pop-rock band THEM is dishing out a new tune for your New Music Friday playlists. THEM—a band name made up of the initials from members’ names Thompson, Hudson, Ellie, and Maia— just released their new track “Confused and Upset,” featuring shimmering vocals, beachy grooves, and bubbly beats.
“I’m confused and I’m upset/I can’t seem to get out of my bed/I thought I liked him/Now I don’t/What the heck/Stupid boys don’t give me rest/I’m dizzy/May their actions be suppressed/I don’t need an excuse not to kick it with you,” the band sings in their chorus. Also in 2024, THEM released their single “Can’t Call It Mine. It features grunge-laced guitar melodies, raw storytelling, and a vintage-inspired music video. Check out the recent music video and February 29-released song below.
Excitingly, these two songs are teasers of what’s to come on their forthcoming EP. Today, THEM announced in an Instagram post, “Confused and Upset is out now!!
